Application            Fees and Grants          

Applications for year one of all full-time Degree and Honours Degree courses are made to:

Closing dates for Application to the CAO for 2009-2010

Irish, other European Union (EU), Non EU:   1st February 2010
Late Applicants:                                                  1st May 2010
Change of mind:                                                 1st July 2010

Note 1: Late applicants

Late applications are not accepted for or from the following:
Applicants with a qualification other than the Irish Leaving Certificate, FETAC (NCVA Level 2/3) awards, Northern Ireland or British GCES.
Non EU applicants late applications may be considered for most courses but applicants must contact the Admissions Office (GMIT) for details and procedures before applying to CAO

Note 2: Mature Applicants

Mature applicants may also apply for any course advertised with available/vacant places but are advised to contact the Admissions Office (GMIT) in advance of applying to CAO.

 

Fees and Grants

Fees change from year to year. The current fees are available on the Institute website www.gmit.ie
Higher Education Grants are tenable towards designated courses at GMIT. To qualify for the award of a grant, applicants must attain the required educational qualifications, satisfy means test requirements, age limits etc. Enquiries should be addressed to the Secretary of the County Council or Corporation in an applicant’s home county.
