Letterfrack Gallery
The Letterfrack gallery is open all year round. The gallery displays
an extensive range of student pieces. Course brochures are also
available. The gallery is open from 9am to 5pm. Admission is free.
“Lig do scith” – National Museum of Ireland Country Life,
Castlebar
An exhibition of seating benches designed and made by second year
Furniture Design and Manufacturing students from GMIT at Letterfrack
will take place over a one year period from June 21st 2007 in the
National Museum of Ireland Country Life, Castlebar.
“Designing for the Future Looking to the Past” – County
Museum, Clonmel
An exhibition took place during April 2007 in the County Museum,
Clonmel, which featured furniture pieces from Letterfrack.
“Furnishing the Details” – Farmleigh Gallery
Farmleigh Gallery’s inaugural exhibition programme has witnessed to
date the very best in contemporary Irish and international craft,
design, and fine art. In keeping with this approach, Furnishing the
Details showcases furniture designed and made by students and
graduates of Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) Letterfrack.
